Meet Noah
(Pictured: Julia and Noah Bishop)
Family:
I am the proud son of Scott and Traci Bishop and grandson of Arvin and Betty Bishop and Charles and Sudie Lents. My family ties run deep into the heart of Murray County, and their legacy has greatly influenced my commitment to our community.
In 2021, I married my wonderful wife, Julia Bishop. We've been together since 2016, sharing countless memories and building a strong partnership. We are excited to announce that we are expecting our first child in December 2024. We look forward to starting this new chapter and raising our family here in Murray County.
As we begin our own family, my dedication to serving as commissioner is stronger than ever. I am committed to working towards a brighter future not only for my family but for all the families of Murray County. Together, we can ensure that our community remains a great place to live, work, and raise the next generation.
Education:
Murray County High School - Class of 2011
University of Georgia - B.S. Animal Science
Career:
Upon graduation from the University of Georgia, I attended flight school where I became a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor. I worked as a flight instructor for Sanders Aviation in Jasper, Alabama and later relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee after taking a position with Cirrus Aircraft.
Like many other industries, the flight industry was greatly affected by the presence of COVID-19 and the uncertainty of the longevity of the event left me with a career change.
I obtained my Property and Casualty Insurance Adjuster license from the State of Georgia and began working as an Independent Catastrophe Adjuster where I have traveled and handled insurance claims from Waco, TX to Ashland, KY and Fort Myers, FL to Zanesville, OH.
This experience has given me the opportunity to visit small towns and communities throughout the southeast that share the same small-town feels and issues that we have in Murray County.
